MY GANDHIAN ACT OF THE WEEK

Gandhi was a strong leader who led us to freedom from the British. One of the aspects of leadership was helpfulness and empathy for the under privileged. This value always inspires me and any other person would salute such a person. My Gandhian act based on helpfulness is an act I would like to share. One day, I was as usual going to some place to visit my friends. As soon as I got off the car I saw a rag-picker carrying his brother on the cart and suddenly his brother fell off the cart very badly because the cart was moving very fast. My mother and me rushed to see what had happened. We shifted the child to the pavement and parked the cart nearby to let the traffic pass by. Then my mother examined the boy. There was no fracture and we both together washed his wounds made him sit properly. Everyone was watching us as though we had done a sin but finally they understood and we too our proud of our GANDHIAN ACT.
